Welcome to Snowdonia Mountaineering.... instruction and coaching by Rory Shaw. If you're looking for rock climbing courses, scrambling instruction, mountain walking and navigation courses or you want a guided day out in the hills then Snowdonia Mountaineering is for you. My aim is to impassion you, provide you with the skills you need so you can go it alone and give you an experience you will never forget. I'm based near Llanberis, North Wales, which means that there is a lifetime worth of adventures on the doorstep!

Most of the courses are for private bookings only. This means that I can tailor the course for your needs, you can choose dates that suit you and learn with people you know.
Snowdonia has some of the finest rock climbing in the UK. Whether you are learning to lead, want to improve your technique or touch rock for the first time I have a course for you!
